Pregnant women should eat iron-rich selenium in food

One study found that selenium intake during pregnancy for women in iron-rich foods in trace minerals such as, so infants born in childhood eczema and breathing difficulties and the chances are very low. Dyspnea is usually considered to be suffering from asthma early signs of the disease.

King\'s College London and the University of Bristol\'s team in the 90 \'s to investigate the nearly 3,000 infants born in Bristol, which is United Kingdom \"for parents and children tracking study\" part of the plan. Researchers to examine fetal umbilical cord first, view the contents of several minerals, and then tracking them 42 months, check whether they will suffer from respiratory problems or diseases such as eczema. Results found: umbilical cord high selenium content of iron in infant respiratory difficulties the possibility of disease before age 3 is very small. Low level 5 of selenium before birth (lowest level) of infants suffering from breathing difficulties is out at least the possibility of living high selenium content level 5 (highest) 3 times of the baby.

King\'s College London, Department of public health Professor saifu·shaxin is the leader of the study, he said: \"if we can show that fetal exposure to iron under the trace mineral selenium associated with respiratory difficulties and eczema, we can likely to suffer from disease prevention to early infancy. \"He also pointed out that United Kingdom iron and selenium intake of pregnant women than women in other countries in the world iron intake of Selenium is low, it is probably United Kingdom important cause of high incidence of asthma.

Note: Selenium: a trace mineral, the enzymatic function of the human body has a crucial role. Most of the total nutrient food and non-refined processed foods, such as cereals, eggs, meat and fish are rich in the mineral selenium.
